Thread
is a functionality or logic which can be executed simultaneously along with the
other part of the program. We can define the functionality or logic as a thread
by overriding run method of Thread class. Thread is a predefined class which is defined in threading module. After defining the
functionality or logic as a thread we can execute the logic or functionality as
a thread by calling start() method
of Thread class.
Example –
import threading
class Thread1(threading.Thread):
def run(self):
i=1
while i<-100:
print i
i=i+1
class Thread2(threading.Thread):
def run(self):
i=101
while i<=200:
print i
i=i+1
t1=Thread1()
t2=Thread2()
t1.start()
t2.start()
class Thread1(threading.Thread):
def run(self):
i=1
while i<-100:
print i
i=i+1
class Thread2(threading.Thread):
def run(self):
i=101
while i<=200:
print i
i=i+1
t1=Thread1()
t2=Thread2()
t1.start()
t2.start()
